About print
“Balancing act” is about recognising those with the courage and strength to keep their head up and put one foot in front of the other, keeping the show on the road whilst balancing, life, work, family and a million other things. Keep going, you’ve got this.
Each “Balancing act” print is individually inked and printed by hand using the highest quality fade resistant navy ink on archival quality Zerkall paper. This means that your print will resist fading, yellowing and deterioration. It is printed from a hand carved lino block.
You can choose to receive your prints framed or unframed. If you choose to receive your prints framed, they will come in a white frame with acrylic glass. Acrylic glass has excellent clarity and is shatterproof and lightweight. It is a little more expensive than glass but is ideal for posting, ensuring your framed piece will arrive in perfect condition.
Unframed prints come mounted, ready to be placed in a frame of your choice. They will fit into a frame size of 10x8 inches. The mounts that I use are lignin-free, alkaline sized and pH neutral to ensure that they do not cause any damage to the print.
Please note that your print was made by a human hand. This means that there will be small variations between prints, which I feel adds to their uniqueness.
