“South Kerry” is an original, limited edition, hand-pulled lino print. It is designed, carved and hand printed in West Cork.
Each “South Kerry” is individually printed using the highest quality ink and papers. I have used Cranfield traditional copper ink on Zerkall off white paper.
This print stretches from Glenbeigh to Kenmare whilst also taking in the tip of the Beara Peninsula. It follows the coastal contours of the Iveragh Peninsula taking in the beautiful Ring of Kerry. The bustling seaside towns of Sneem, Caherdaniel, Waterville, Portmagee, Cahersiveen and Glenbeigh all feature in this print. You’ll also find Valentia Island and the wonder that is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Skellig Michael. The Iveragh Peninsula is home to hundreds of mountain peaks, such as Mullaghanattin and Stumpa Duloigh which you will also find running through this print.
South Kerry is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way on the South West Coast of Ireland. There’s clear reason why it draws over 1 million visitors each year. From pristine sandy beaches, music filled towns and villages, rugged mountain ranges, rolling green fields and numerous lakes dotted throughout, it’s a show stopper of a destination.
